About NZ again.
A friend of mine just returned from NZ and posted on facebook, her bad experience with trip. Apparently, she went with a famous tour agency and there are many things that are not handled and coordinated properly. Thankfully, I didn't experience it and it enforces my thinking of not travelling with an agency (if possible). Feel like trying out a solo travel but not so soon, maybe next year?

Travel
Was browsing the net randomly and saw a travel forum. Went in to have a look and now I totally feel like going for a vacation. I continued to read about Taiwan travel and it really got me into the mood but too bad, I can only read about it and can't go right now. Wanted to visit less travelled places in Taiwan like Kenting and Green Island, heard people can rent a scooter and ride around Green Island. Wouldn't it be a wonderful experience to ride along the coastal roads, enjoying the breeze and the scenery? Anyway, currently I can only dream of going there and until perhaps March 2013 or later.
One question, recalling back to your previous travel experience, what's the most memorable thing you remembered? Hmm...
Thinking back to my most recent travel which is NZ, I would say my most memorable and unforgettable experience is star-gazing at Lake Tekapo. It wasn't part of my itinerary and somehow I missed to plan it. It was such a famous place, how can I missed it? (Read somewhere that it is supposed to be one of the best places in the world to stargaze and indeed) Anyway, I get to know of this place when I chatted with some Malaysian and they invited us to join them.
Initially, I only intend to wear a jacket over but they reminded us it was a cold place and advice us to wear thicker. So, I changed but I didn't really felt a need to. After all, I managed to survive the cold up till then and it was not really cold that night. We got onto the car and went our way to the observation point and even before I could enjoy the stunning view before me, I had to overcome a very very big problem! The moment I step out of the car, the wind was so strong that it could at times make me unstable. The air was cold and together with the effect of the wind, the result was totally unbelievable. How could the wind be so strong? I just laugh when the wind hit me and thankfully I wore something thick.
Back to main topic. The view presented in front of me was amazing. I could see the milky way so clearly and stars so much that it was impossible to finish counting. While the rest are busy taking photo of the place, I simply stared at the sky while counting the number of shooting stars. Really an unforgettable experience which I highly recommend to all. Maybe I will post more about my NZ trip some other days.

Many things to post but didn't feel like posting yet. Haha. Long story below please take note!
Start of long story!!!
Wanted to tell a story about luck and perception. Few days back, as usual, I went to work as a temporary admin assistant and bad feeling comes when my Ez-link card failed to work. Having no idea what happened (it worked very well the previous day), I opened my purse and paid in coins. After reaching the Mrt station, I asked and found out my card was expired with about $7 inside it. Oh right, I wanted to keep the card so I just have to forfeit the money and I got up to the machine to purchase a one time card for $2. I inserted $10 but the maximum change is $4 so I have to go back to the staff again to get smaller change. Up to this point, I felt sian and definitely not a great start to the day. Everything felt like there are not going to go in my way.
Finally reached work after the long journey and about 10/11am, it started raining heavily. It was close to lunch and I had to walk out without shelter to the nearest food centre for lunch. My mood fell down and wondered why is this happening?
As I ponder about the question, I thought of my situation today from a different angle. My card was expired, yes but somehow there was sufficient coin in my wallet to take the bus to the interchange. It was raining heavily just before lunch but somehow the rain miraculously stopped during lunch time for me to walk to have my meal. Then, I felt lucky and as the song goes, "Always look on the bright side of life", change the way you look at things, change the way you think and feel!

Some Quotes and Stuff
Want to share some quotes, ideas, phrases with "not so simple" meaning within it. Read them somewhere and randomly thought about them now.
First: "Bulls make money, Bears make money, pigs get slaughtered"
What I think: In market, no matter which way you want to trade and which way the market goes, you definitely can make money. But it is not so simple as mostly will become pigs which literally wait to be slaughtered.
Next: "Why do I have to memorise when I can easily refer to the textbook"
What I think: I agree totally. maybe that's because I am lazy and do not wish to memorise anything at all. It also bring me to my second interview where the interviewee asked what I studied in school in detail. I can't answer because I totally forgot. No prize to guess the result of the interview.

2 more weeks to my convocation but I have yet gotten my graduation gown and a job yet. Think I have send more than 20 applications or maybe 30? But the response is not very good, only managed to get 2 interviews. Now I am not only applying directly but also through agency but still no response. Market bad? Or the jobs I applied is not suitable for my degree? Perhaps, still I gonna try to send as much as possible. Hope for the best.
Can don't change blogger interface or not? I already used to the old one. New one I think will be very messy with all the additional and useless function.

The more you know, the more you don't know. The more you try to find out, the more you realise there are so many people out there who are more knowledgeable.
Been reading a thread and the content discussed is definitely overwhelming. Something like a student sitting in a debate session of the professors whom all seem right in their view on a particular topic. Too deep and not for me as of now.
Still trying to get a job now. Not much luck yet.
