Went Class 2a practical 2 today and it was quite fun surprisingly. The most fun part is riding the bike while in standing position and we did that for the whole of the e-brake circuit distance. Quite interesting to stand and ride. Haha. Forgot to make a post for the last day of my intern, maybe I will do it tomorrow.

In this short 10 weeks of intern, we will be celebrating quite a few of fellow intern's birthday. Just this Monday is Shu Xiang's 21st and late July will be Ricky and Pei Suan. Celebrating their birthday would mean no mood to work that day and it will be a play card day again. If intern lasts till October, there will be at least 5 birthdays in that month alone. Haha.

I think I played too much L4D2 already. Till now, I played about 50++ hours and compared with the others, they have about 30++ hours only. Although they are playing team fortress too but seeing my playing time of L4D2 to be so high, I know I have to stop playing that much. Anyway, now I am playing in the advanced mode already. Haha.

Just randomly thought of one year ago and recalled I am working in Changi airport at that time. Worked one month for the event and then another one and a half months for the data entry so, 2.5 months in total. Working for the event was not as fun as the lucky 7 event because there are only 2 people in a booth compared to 4 during the lucky 7 event.

The whole event is about a million dollar draw and the draw is done by manually picking up a lucky slip from a mountain of them. Of course, the person responsible for picking the lucky slip is a high ranking person (don't know his post). And that is the first time I see so many pieces of paper just lying on the ground. Such a big pile of paper and we are only supposed to choose about 5! Think too much paper is wasted.

After pouring out the paper and the draw, we keep the papers back and it as quite fun actually. We try many ways to try get as much paper into the bag as possible and paper cuts are signs that you are working haha.

What a bad day was yesterday. Many people in office have been rather sad and I really can see from their face. In my area, I think I am one of the few who is normal. The rest are sad because they can't do their project or for some reasons, moody. Funny that Angela even imo me to tell me not to be the next one to get emo. Haha.

Intern is ending, everyone is rushing to finish their project. Luckily for me, I think the most difficult part is over and now, I just have to wait for my mentor to provide me with the data before I can continue. Till then, I will be improving my code and slacking.

Really not used to see Jane like that, a bit don't know her already. Maybe, this is the real her. Haha.

Although things won't be the same as before, at least it is improving now. I can only try to be a better friend but in the end, whether she appreciates or not is another question. Haha.

Tomorrow will be a full day. Afternoon, Angela treating us waffle and milk tea. Night time, the usual 7 of us are going to eat ice cream and dinner at Tampines. Quite funny to see the 7 of us always going around together. Sometimes the Kite flying team will join us but somehow, the number of people will always get to 7.

We must move forward. Can't keep living in the past. Move On!

Been playing lots of Left 4 dead 2 this few days. Maybe too much, everyday I will play for a while. Sometimes, I will play so long that after playing, I can sleep already. Need to cut down on my playing time. But when my friend asks me to play, I seldom say no to them. Maybe I can't go online to steam too much.

Today, slacked for most of the day. But very unlucky, my mentor came in when everyone is playing cards. Then, he gave me things to do which have to be done by mid week. I think tomorrow, I have to work faster and can't play cards anymore. After this part is done, I think things will be easier and more relax already.

Tried talking to Jane today, not as good as before but also not as bad as before. Slowly ba. A new intern came in today and she is from Imperial College. Must be a very clever scholar and feel bad that she has to sit at the table which we used to put the garbage bag. That is the only table left, really too bad. Haha.

OK, I am going to try for the next week and see how it goes. Really feel pity to see things going this way.

4 more weeks to end of intern, do I enjoy this intern? I will say half half, the good are I can talk and have fun with so many people. I think I will miss playing cards in office as well the MRT trip home which at times seem so fast haha.

Now for the bad is the lack of time and sleep. Everyday have to sleep so early and wake up so early. No free day and have to work for all 5 days haha. Also, for some other reason, I cant enjoy the intern fully.

In general, I would say I have enjoyed the time in DSO till now. 4 more weeks left, let's make full use of them and enjoy the remaining time as interns together. Angela's treating us waffle and drink next Wednesday, didn't expect his dad to own Waffle's Hut.

If I am in that situation, I will be annoyed. I don't know what happen in the first week but I hope everything will be fine.

Interns had our outing at SP graduate guild and we did bowling there. Not my first time in SP but first time spending so much time inside and having a good look at how the poly looks like. I have to say it's very big and lots of facilities around. There are also lots of student activities and the school looks happening.

Then, we went for bowling. My first time seeing someone who finds the number 5 house ball heavy. It is the lightest but I can see she really is tired after just one game. The ball almost drop from her grip once. Think she don't have the strength to hold the ball anymore.

During the last game, at the second last throw, I got a strike. For the last throw, I threw and hit about 5pins but somehow the system consider it as a strike and I got the second strike by system fault! Threw the ball again and strike again! First time getting the turkey, although a bit play cheat haha.

Now I am confused. Don't know what to do now. Since I don't know, I think the best is to remain as usual and we shall see.

Went to CosFest, overall still ok but the place is too small so walk a bit and I cover the whole area. Watched the performance too. The first show by the Koreans is good but after that, it went down. It gets a little bored at the end as I don't know many of the characters but still it's a good experience for me.

This time is not only me, the rest of them also think likewise. I must say I feel better after knowing that but sad because it confirms that.

Really enjoyed all the trips back home with XT, Kelvin, Sunny, HC. Crapped all the way back to the east, making the train trip somehow faster haha.

Tomorrow we will be celebrating XT birthday, too bad I meeting Elson, Vincent for dinner so cant join them for the second part of the celebration.

Internship week 5 and these are the interns in the same office as me. Check out the first photo, we are supposed to wear rainbow colours haha.

Before intern started, I never thought I will spend my time there playing card games. I have learn 2-3 new card games and everyday, we will almost certainly spend some time playing cards. Today I played about 2 hours!

Anyway, atmosphere in the office is weird today but I think it is a one off thing. Tomorrow will be a better day for all. Almost getting used to it already.

Saw my friends using Tumblr and find it quite attractive. Should I change to that? Anyway, i have just installed Steam account into the computer so, any games that are on discount and I am interested in, I am prepared to buy them.

Finally beginning to settle into the office after 2 weeks. Don't believe that things could change so fast. Also, I don't believe that it could be so weak. But it is. Haha. Everyone got different way of doing things and the way some are doing things, I don't really agree. Very different from me. No one's fault, just different opinions. But since the road we are heading towards are not the same, we don't walk together.

How can anyone be so cold to your friends? Especially when they are your good friends. "Relations are build with time but it can be destroyed in a minute" I think I seen this somewhere. Haha.

Think that it is very hard for someone to pretend so as to leave a good impression on people. Why can't we just be ourselves? Want to talk then talk, don't feel like it then don't do it. Very tiring to act to be an interesting person so everyone will be on good terms with you. I really feel bad for this kind of people, I rather be myself. Haha.

Second week of internship is coming. Hope I can get used to this kind of lifestyle soon. Also, hope I can enjoyed more there.

Went to RSAF open house today, it a last minute decision and there we go. Crowd was plenty but luckily, the weather was not bad so walking around was not very torturing. Did all those must do stuff like boarding planes and air performace. There was a helicopter which I failed to board after 2 times because the queue is really not moving at all. After waiting a while, we decided to give up and move on. Ok, time to sleep, tomorrow is a long day.

When you are just focusing on one side, it is very easy to neglect the other side. Slightly disappointed that this had happened and the situation is obvious to me now. If they don't want it, why should I continue to do it? Right? Only causing more problems for myself. Haha. I have tried but not appreciated. Not your fault but mine as I failed at many aspects. Haha

First week of intern finally done. Basically, didn't really do much and I am definitely the slackest around the NTU interns. Can't compare to some NUS ones as some are really slacking for the whole day. It's good to be serious at intern but I am not. Next week should be a busy one so, i better rest more for this weekend before work comes. Anyway, known quite a few of NUS friends and all of them are very friendly which makes the initial part easier to get pass.

Really don't understand them sometimes. Even don't understand myself sometimes. Try to think what you have done to make the person do that and not just blame the person.
After work, went for dinner with the tiger nsf, too bad Desmond can't come for the dinner but still very happy to have a chance to gather together again.

On the first day on internship, we are told that we will be having a presentation workshop on the 3rd day and we need to prepare a presentation with just 2 days. Luckily, I used my past project and managed to smoke through.

Getting to know the fellow interns more better and many are more friendly then I thought. Haha. Hope to know what to read tomorrow, other NTU students have been reading up so much and only I am not sure what to read. Without a correct direction, I cannot start reading because I do not want to waste time reading unnecessary stuff.
Feel quite irritating at times. Trying not to care so much.

Ever since intern starts, I have been very tired everyday and sleeping earlier and earlier. From 2am before intern to 12am after intern. Really so tired, maybe I am not used yet. Time to sleep!

First day of intern over. Supposed to read up but my supervisor didn't provide me with any reading material so, I have to look for myself and I don't even know if they are relevant. The task given is definitely too tough for me but I will still try before asking my supervisor.

Same intern but different life. In the room, there are NUS computing students as well but they seems to have nothing to do and talking from morning till end of work. I am reading my stuff at my table and the noise they made seldom stop for long before they started talking again. Why they got nothing to do? Weird.
Hoping second day will be much better than today.

Few more hours and I will be reporting for my first day of internship. Feel like going back to NS days because I cannot use camera phone. Luckily, my old Nokia phone is still working well and so, for the next 10 weeks, my wildfire will be taking leave. Haha.

Just came back from midnight soccer, feeling quite shag now. Really must admit that I am getting old already, body can't take it and I get tired more and more easily. This time, I feel damn tired only after the first game. Panting like don't know what. Haha.

Earlier in the day, went to open a UOB account. It's mainly for the dinning privileges that it offers. Since 2 of my friend has CITIBank card then I just open UOB. So now, if we go out, we can enjoy both banks privileges. So good!
If that is what you want, that is what you get. Don't disturb me. Haha.

Today took photo from Kong, now I have full size photo of previous outing with the NTU friends. So happy. I have been wanting to get them since long ago, finally got it.

Exam is over but I am still torturing my brain and I think I am spending more time and brain power on it compared to school work. So difficult, almost giving up already. Maybe I think too much, worry too much or don't know what too much. Haha.
Okay, complained enough and time to return back to try to make friend with it.

Although I have said I don't care, but it really is not easy to not care. Back to square one then. My usefulness maybe much smaller than someone else but I hope it could still leave an impact, no matter how small it is.

Recently, I don't feel like talking to a few of my good friends. I don't dislike them but currently just don't feel like talking to them. They are my good friends nevertheless and very soon, I will be wanting to talk to them again but now is not the time yet. No mood.

Election ended so long ago and I kept forgetting to post a photo which was very badly taken.



As you can see the bus is carrying the newly elected MP of Pasir Ris. Initially, I thought they would turn into the main road then, I could take a more direct shot but who knows, they move straight into the side road and I quickly snap a photo before they're gone. Maybe the next time I see them will be 5 years later. Haha.

Looking at my post history, I realised my post count this year has already surpass last year. Don't know what am I doing for 2010, why did I update so little times? Funny. I will definitely try to post as much as possible so, stay tune for more boring posts.

What luck? Yesterday ate something wrong and I got allergy to it. Last night, my face is swollen and press any part of my face will create some pain. My hands till now is numb. Super sian.

Then, I went to see a doctor in the morning and at the registration counter, the person told me that my last visit was at 2005. Which means the last time I went to polyclinic was when I'm in JC. Thinking back, I only remembered I went there once and it was when I overslept and don't feel like going to school. I tried to geng for MC but I really think it was super obvious that I am faking. So lame.

Going into the doctor's room, can't help but notice his desktop wallpaper is Nicole! Omg, uncle doctor likes Nicole haha. He kept saying my condition is interesting because it's his first time coming across food allergy. But isn't this quite common? I don't know, maybe it's not. Haha.
Just for your information, I highly suspect is the abalone i ate yesterday, the rest is the same as before. Maybe I can't take that brand of abalone? Or maybe the cause is not that? I still don't know. Haha.

Was looking at facebook photo and I think I shrink a bit. I feel I look more build and got a little muscles last time. Now the muscles all hiding already. Haha. How to find them back? Also, I realize something while browsing through the photos. Although, it's seems like a small thing but it confirms something and along with other information, I hope the doubt in me will be gone and I can finally be back to normal.
As of now, most my friends have finished their examinations and it's time to have a great rest before starting intern. Just slightly more than 1 week of rest is not enough but what to do? I rather do intern than another 8au of module.

Yesterday is the last Maths paper of this semester and with that, I have done all I could. Now it is time for me to help myself for my final paper later in the evening. Last paper is also hard to study as the mood is not there already. Luckily, it shouldn't be a too tough paper and hope everything goes well.
Friends going for dinner tomorrow after their last paper. Don't think I can join them as they most likely will be at the west side. Feel very sian. Sometimes thinking too much is no good, the more you think, the more problems surface. I want to learn to stop thinking so much. Haha, what should I do?

Just finish voting for the first time. Hope what I did is correct and may the best team wins. Alright, 3 more papers and I am done for exams. Time to study.

Today's first day of exam and I got 2 papers. Luckily I SU-ed Abstract Algebra, that module is seriously not easy and very difficult. OK, difficult for me at least.
Common behaviors observed during exam period. Firstly, can see people 'disappearing' from the online world. After exam, then is 见证奇迹的时候when people start coming back. Secondly, some friends ask for help in their work, I don't mind at all, actually I am very happy to help them but I very scare after this period, they very realistic and disappear. Feel very sian lor. Haha.

OK, tomorrow is polling day, don't really know which one to pick. How I hope my exam is not during this period, no time to go any rallies at all. Really feel like going to worker party rally, they got such a huge turnout. But I don't expect results to swing towards opposition much. I hope CST win the area he competing in.

Saw the photo of the WP rally yesterday and initially, i thought it was photoshopped. Really a lot of people, no wonder when I took bus home last night, there was a traffic jam.
In this election, I really hope the opposition can win more seats. Saying that, I am unsure who to vote for in my area. The opposition party here seems to be rather quiet and I have to admit that I still do not know who they are. It's the one with many rings and a star.

So, on one hand, I want more voices in the government but the other hand, I don't feel safe giving them my vote. If worker party comes to my area, I would have no doubt who to support.

Recently, realised that knowing more can lead you to realise that there's even more that you do not understand. Sometimes it is better not to know too much.

Exams are coming, I am still slacking. Went to Daiso to get a plastic sheet that can be formed into keychains etc. I bought it because it looks interesting and I'll get it a try tomorrow. Haha.

Things are not like it used to be. Different already so, we must change as well. General Election coming, I have to admit I don't read up about what each party is doing but this time, I feel the opposition seems to be providing a tough challenge for the ruling party. But I don't think the results will change much. Haha.

Sometimes when you share happy things with your friends, they may think that you are showing off. Even if they are just joking, it still affect me. So emo. Haha. Don't why Korean so many things to do, essay, quiz, homework etc. Do they think that we are taking their module only? Another thing I don't like about Korean class is they 说一套，做一套. Everytime they emphasis the importance of coming early to class and if you are late for 5minutes then your attendance would not be mark. But, I would expect them to release us earlier for other class if not, just on time. Till now, almost every Korean class will be extend by 5-10mins. So, we cannot be late for Korean but can be late for other classes? Having said that, I still like Korean. Just don't like the way they are doing it.

Quality over Quantity. This is a fitting phrase for the BBQ last wednesday. I have to admit that I have considered not going for it after many of my friends couldn't make it. But I am glad that I didn't make the wrong choice.

There are only 7 of us but I think in a way, it is better as we can talk more and it's like more focus given to an individual.

A super funny moment has to be YW showing me a photo of her friend and ask me if she's cute. She's trying to introduce her friend to me! It was so unexpected and so sudden and so funny!

Then, we just sat around the stone table and talked for most of the time and of course, eating the extra food remaining. We still think we can finish all and bought more, in the end, it was just too much.

Ok, good day good company good food, what more can I ask for? Haha.

Forex part 2

This is in response to my earlier blog entry. Indeed, the price went up and notice the dotted Green lines? There is where I bought and price went up and currently, it is moving back down again. Ok, better not explain further because I do not want to make this into a trading blog.

OK, today I will be talking about 2 things that I have observed. Firstly, is Majong. Sometimes, I feel people play not for the fun of it but rather, they play for the sake of playing. Enjoying? I seriously don't know.

Then, is the common phone. I feel that yes, it changed the way people used phone and it brought much entertainment to users but let us think what it took away from us instead. Don't wish to elaborate more but I think is ironically, communication between people.

Above is what I think and it could be very different for different people. So, if you strongly object my views, please don't be angry. Talk to me and explain yours to me. Haha.

Nothing to do at home so decided to make a post on a possible trade.



As we can see the price is at the sloping red line and obviously, it is going lower. But i am looking for the price to stop moving down and reverse to go up. We have to wait for the price to tell me if it is going up or down. Stay tune for more updates.

Just got a twitter account and followed a few of my friends. But some of them said it contained stuffs they don't want to reveal to us. So, they told me they blocked us. Haha. Girls have many secrets what. But they didn't realised that by blocking a person doesn't mean that he can't see their profile.
As long as their profile are public, we can see. But I am not that free to go dig out their past tweets. So, it does not concern me much.

While cleaning my cupboard during CNY period, I decided to throw away some clothes that is memorable.

The left hand side is from Pre-JRC during Navy days. Still remember we book out in this together as a squad. But, that is the only time i wore it. Haha.

The right hand side is from my JC and it is a volleyball t-shirt. I really like this t-shirt because of the design but have to throw away too.

Think I very Nian Jiu, so before throwing away, I took a photo of them. I won't forget them! Haha.

Maybe I will post more "old" stuff I have that I didn't throw away after so so long.

Recently, I went back and read my old entries and found a big difference with my entries now. That is, I do not put up photos now. The reason? Maybe I just don't bother to upload them onto the posts but now, I will try to post more photos and try to make this dull blog less dull. So, when i read them in the future, it will be much more fun and interesting.

Letting go is a very important aspect of trading (forex/stock etc). I think it applies to life as well, if we don't let go, it will always hold us back. But learning to let go is definitely not easy. Hmm, don't know how to put it in words.
Anyway, lots of tests coming up and why is week 7 so special that every lecturer want to have a test on that week. And why all of them like Thursday so much that they plan the test on the same day as well. Why? So, I have 3 tests on Thursday and one listening test on Monday. I'm loving it. Cham.

Sometimes you assume something that you think is true. But when the fact comes out and you know you are wrong, it feels sucky. You try to convince yourself that you are correct but you know it in your mind that it's not. Hmm... Time to think about it.

S.league

After much criticism. the S.league is back and this season, I can feel their efforts in trying to pull the crowds back to the stadium with the constant promotion on the media.

Went to watch Hougang United play against Woodlands on Monday. The crowds were quite quiet except for the usual shouting from the usual group of supporters.

I didn't expect to see JoJoJoGet from The Noose to be filming there. The scene he was trying to shoot seems funny as he stood with the supporters and cheered. Okay, I am expecting the show to come out soon.

As for the game, I would say there's still room to improve. After a boring first half, came an interesting second where there's red card, penalty, missed penalty and goals. Much more exciting than the first I would say.

wow, so long never post anything on this blog. Today suddenly have the 'feel' to type in something so here I am.
Really think that the anime "Slam Dunk" is damn nice. Listening to the OST now and it really brings back memories of my secondary school days. Those days are so carefree, only have to worry about school work. So good.
Heading into the 4th week of school, my course mates have all started on studying. Why am I not doing it? So weird. Worse, I am doing things not relevant to school. No wonder I am Ah Cham.
