Old Chang Kee

Did the price of Squid Head increase again? Just now bought one for $1.50 but, isn't it just $1.30 the last time i bought it? Anyway, if i did not remember wrongly, it just cost $1.10 few years back. Inflation is common nowadays, think i will not eat that so often now. Finally, made my own cappuccino in class, made another cup of Macchiato as well. I just drank few mouth and pour away the beverage. Not that it isn't nice but, just too much to finish everything.

Bus

Yesterday, took a bus to Tampines but, on the bus, there are 3 Coral Sec girls who are making trouble for the driver. The driver kept stopping the bus to prevent the girls from leaving and call back to his HQ. He claimed that the 3 girls are making trouble for him. The girls obviously did not want to admit their mistake and kept asking among themselves what the driver wants to do. Aiya, waste time only, luckily they got off 2 stops later or i have to continue listening to those girls talking. Sian, yesterday drank 8 types of coffee, stomach feeling strange. Still cannot taste and describe the coffee clearly. There are people in the class who can describe the coffee as woody or fruity just by smelling. I'm wondering how they did that without even having to taste the coffee yet. Strange.

Bowing

On TV, we always see Japanese bowing to each another but, is it really true that they bow that much? Yesterday, i saw three people outside Starbucks and after giving out their name cards, they started bowing. It continues for about 5 seconds until one of them sit down. They begun their discussion and after they ended, all of them stood up and started the bow again. This time, it got better with one even bowing so low that his upper and lower body almost forming a 90 degree and the best part, the person holds onto that position for a few seconds before coming up. This action is done entirely on his own will, no one is forcing him to bow that low. This shows how respectful they are towards the others.

Cat

Second post of the day, i did not want to write too much on a post so, i created another. Anyway, yesterday at 1030pm, i heard cat meowing and i went to check it out and saw a cat outside my house. OK, not directly outside but, in the corridor between my neighbour and mine house. However, the moment i opened the door, it noticed me and slowly walked towards me. When it got nearer, i started to close my door and the cat noticing that, started to walk faster as i close the door. Now, it really is directly outside my house haha, it kept walking around my door and my dad worried that it may dirty our corridor, chase it away.

Check Up

Went to Ntu medical centre for check up yesterday, got there late and have to wait for more than an hour before the centre reopens. The first check is height and weight and my height measured is 0.5cm lesser than my supposed height. I think because i am not prepared yet so, i did not stand properly. Resulting in a slight drop in height but never mind. The whole check up went smoothly and i left in about an hour time. The journey to and back Ntu is long and i sit in the train till my back is aching. Maybe, need to stand up half way through the ride.

Job

Extend my job for the second time. Not that i like the job, it's just that i do not want to spend time finding for another one. Anyway, i just extend 3 days only... Receive my first GST offset package letter today. Thought i will not get it this year since I'm not 21 yet.

Alex's Bday

Went to Alex's chalet last week. Although, the main celebration was on Saturday, we went on Friday instead as it was an exclusive night for us, claimed by Alex. Haha, tough time finding for the chalet as we drove around looking for the place. At last, we found it and went in to have some food. Just when we are about to leave, Alex's relative wanted us to play game, i think it was supposed to be a wet game. Luckily, it was too late so, we just sat in a circle and played Zhong Ji Mi Ma. The first punishment was to lick out somethings from a plate of salad and for the second, it was me who got it. My punishment was to drink black vinegar, it was sour and after drinking a few sips, i feel my tears in my eyes. Luckily, after that i was out of the game and it continued for another few rounds. We leave the chalet around midnight and went to Marsh's house to stay over before soccer in the next morning.

Yucks

As i walk past a western food stall, i saw a cockroach crawling around and it was just another dirty stall i thought. While waiting for my food, i look to my right which is also at the right of the Western. To my horror, i saw 10 cockroaches. Yes, i did count them as the owner stands inside the stall. Yucks, i will never buy food from them again.
